eccubeのバージョンを4.2+PHP8.1にして検証しました。
同じようにカートにアクセスした時に「# unable to fetch the response from the backend: unexpected EOF」になり、以降は管理画面以外は全部同じエラーになります。

[再現手順]


$ php composer.phar create-project ec-cube/ec-cube ec-cube "4.2.x-dev" --keep-vcs
$ cd ec-cube
$ symfony composer install
$ symfony console eccube:install -n
$ npm ci
$ npm run build

この状態で商品を購入してカートに進むと再現可能。
